Practicing audiology is both a professional commitment and a personal calling for Amelia.

As a child, Amelia worked with a speech pathologist to overcome a speech impediment, an experience that first sparked an interest in communication sciences. This early connection eventually led to a career in audiology. During academic training in speech and hearing sciences, Amelia developed a special fascination with the auditory system and how hearing serves as a vital connector between people and their world.

Today, that background shapes Dr. Schuring’s clinical work. With a focus on patient-centered care, evidence-based methods, and practical solutions, Dr. Schuring is dedicated to helping each patient improve communication and quality of life through better hearing.

 

Outside the clinic, Dr. Amelia enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to music, and exploring new places with her husband and children.
